About Porcupine Mountains

Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park is the largest state park in Michigan. It protects one of the last significant stands of old-growth northern hardwood-hemlock forest in the Great Lakes region. The Lake of the Clouds overlook is the most photographed spot in the UP.
